Gary Edward King, 66, of Denton passed away on December 29, 2021 at his home. He was born in Ft. Worth, Texas to Harry and Camilla (Jasheway) King, Jr.

Gary has been in Denton most of his life. He worked for Goodyear for thirty-three years and was known as an alignment specialist. He then worked for Kroger on Loop 288 for ten years in the Deli. He enjoyed playing the trumpet and was an avid radio-controlled airplane builder and aviator.

He is survived by his wife, Deloris King of Denton, daughter, Lorna Denna King of Denton, step-daughters, Rachel Ann Marie Banks, of California, Dawnel Louise Kuhn of Florida, sons, Matthew David King of Denton, sisters, Karen King, Ferris, Deborah King, brothers, Brian King and Kevin Michael King.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father, and brother, Ronald Harry King.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 9, 2022 from 1-3PM at DeBerry Funeral Directors.

Flowers are welcome but donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital in Gary's name.
