Gary Lee Rouse of Denton, Formerly of Coldwater, Michigan, passed away on Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at Denton Rehab and Nursing Center. He was born on October 24, 1953 in Coldwater, Michigan to Dale and Joyce (Paff) Rouse.

He graduated from Coldwater High School in 1973, and resided in Coldwater until he moved to Texas in 1982. He worked as a short order cook until diabetes forced him to quit. He suffered from diabetes for many years. Gary enjoyed all kinds of sports, his favorite team being the Detroit Tigers. He also enjoyed his church and their activities.

He is survived by his mother and step-father, Joyce and Arlen Glispy; and one brother, Timothy Dale Rouse (Teri) of Corinth, Texas. He was preceded in death by his father in 1973.

The funeral will be held at DeBerry Funeral Directors in Denton, Texas on Thursday, October 18, 2012 at 4:00 pm with Rev. Bob Martin officiating. Burial will take place at Oak Grove Cemetery in Coldwater, Michigan later in the week.
