Obituary
Gene Brown, 77, of Shady Shores, passed away on Thursday, April 19, 2012. He was born on March 29, 1935 in Denton to Omer Curtis Brown and Ruby Elaine Watkins Brown. He married Ruby Jo Brown on August 12, 1957. She preceded him in death in 2007.
Visitation will be on Saturday, April 21, 2012 from 2-3 pm with a funeral service at 3:00 pm in the Chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors. Burial will follow at Swisher Cemetery in Lake Dallas.
Gene is survived by his daughter, Sherry Betts and husband Cary Betts; son, Bobby Brown; and 3 grandchildren, Nathan Betts, Matthew Betts, and Tyler Brown. He is preceded in death by his wife; his parents; and brother, Ray Brown.
