Obituary
Gene Duane Paulus, 63, of Denton, passed away on Thursday, April 11, 2013. He was born on June 18, 1949 in Kendallville, Indiana to Carlton Gene Paulus and Betty Eileen Kintz Paulus. He married Karen Sue Mieras on April 21, 1972. He served in the United States Marines during Vietnam, was a member of the Denton Bible Church, and was a lifetime member of the Vietnam Veterans of America.
The family will receive friends from 3-4 pm on Tuesday, April 16, 2013 with the service starting at 4:00 pm in the Chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors.
Gene is survived by his wife, Karen; daughter, Stacy Paulus; son, Tommy Paulus and wife Tina; mother, Betty Paulus; sisters, Debbie Godsell and Suzi Gleeson-Howe; brother, Steve Paulus; and one grandson, Ryan Maxwell. He is preceded in death by his father.
