Genny Sue Youngblood, 75, of Denton, Texas passed away Wednesday, December 8, 2021 in Denton with her daughters by her side.
She was born in Dallas, Texas on June 12, 1946 to Billy and Geneva Enloe. She attended school in Dallas and during her senior year of high school, she met and became engaged to her future husband, Dean Youngblood. He saw her as she and a friend were heading into the Church, Dean said to his friend "I'm going to marry her". They married in Dallas, Texas on August 14, 1964 and went on to raise three children during their 53 year union together.
Genny was employed as a teachers aide for many years as well as many years taking care of children in her home and at daycare centers. Outside of her faith, family and profession, Genny enjoyed reading and watching her Grandsons sing in choir and playing sports.
She is preceded in death by her husband Dean, parents, Billy and Geneva Enloe and her grandson Marcus Permenter.
Genny is survived by her daughters, Stacy Hall and Amy Youngblood, son, Matt Youngblood and sister Peggy Enloe as well as grandsons, Trevor and Chad.
Per her wishes, there will not be a public service.
