George married Sylvia McGatlin on October 28th, 1950, in Lewisville, TX.  Sylvia was the love of his life, and they celebrated 74 years of a happy marriage and strong life together. In their life they enjoyed being entrepreneurs. They always had some type of business going on.

George started working at an early age. He grew up in Argyle, TX and lived next to the Denton Country Club and he and his brother Joe would find golf balls and sell them back to golfers and then they also did some caddying.  He worked as a truck driver hauling gravel where he helped make Lewisville Lake. Then he became a truck driver for Whitson's Canning Company, in Denton, TX where he got to see a lot of the United States and Mexico hauling canned goods to different stores. After this he becomes a television repair man in Denton, TX. He started a business with his father-in-law Oris McGatlin, Texas Gage, where they manufactured industrial instruments. After Oris retired and sold his part of the business to George and Sylvia they worked alongside with each other as well as their children to build a very profitable business. After they sold the company and retired, they started a ranch in Krum, Tx where they raised Charolais cows and farmed the land.  Sylvia opened a flower shop in Krum, TX and George would help deliver flowers when he wasn't busy farming. When Sylvia opened up a restaurant called Ma and Pa's Kettle, he would pour coffee for the customers and sit around and talk with everyone when he had the time. After many years of success, they sold the business and retired again. After a few years they went to Slidell, TX and opened up a Ma and Pa's Store and Cafe. Again, George enjoyed pouring coffee for customers, talking with them and running the cash register for the cafe and the store. When they sold this property to retire, he kept farming wheat and hay.

George was his happiest when he could be outside working on farm equipment and driving his tractors either plowing or using the front-end loader to do things around the yard and the farm or harvesting his wheat or hay.

Honorary pall bearers will be his six grandsons: Eric Kaszynski III, George Kaszynski, Bryan Dalton, Lee Roy Pelmore III, James Pelmore, and Cody Zambrano.
