George L. Orgain, Jr. 82 of Denton passed away on October 4 ^th , 2019 at the Baylor Heart Hospital in Denton.  He was born on November 29, 1936 in Clinton, OK to George L. and Opal (Wagnon) Orgain.  George attended Stillwater Public Schools and graduated from Oklahoma State University.

He married Alice Keith on November 21, 1956 in Stillwater, OK.  George served in the US Army Reserves.  Alice and he were members of the Lifegate Church in Denton where he was a Deacon.  George was a Senior Risk Analyst and Safety Consultant for Zurich-American Insurance Company.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 16 ^th from 4-5:00 p.m. at the Lifegate Church, a Celebration of Life Service will begin at 5:00 p.m. with Randy Ganzer officiating.  Memorials may be made to the Lifegate Church at 3350 Deerwood Parkway, Denton, TX 76208.

Survivors include; His wife Alice Orgain of Denton, daughter, Nanette Staggs and husband Jimmy of Sanger, son George L. Orgain III and wife Lesa of Gainesville, grandchildren Jennifer Manley and husband Eric of Easton MD, Allison Fenoglio and husband Tabb of Sanger, great grandchildren Landen and Carlee Fenoglio, Garren and Collin Manley.

George was preceded in death by his parents and sister Marilyn Howinstein.
