George William Stonequist passed away in Denton, Texas on Tuesday, January 3, 2023. George was born in Geneva, Illinois to Arthur and Elizabeth Stonequist on November 10, 1953.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial service will be held on March 18, 2023 at 2:00 PM at First Christian Church of Denton, 1203 Fulton Street, Denton, Texas.

George is survived by his wife Heather Taylor; siblings: James Tanzilli (wife Valerie), David Stonequist, Mary Stonequist, Kathy (Stonequist) Dieter (husband Craig), and Dennis (Stonequist) Harbert; offspring: Viki (Stonequist) Renaud (husband Michael and sons Christopher and Carson), JR Stonequist (wife Flora and son Jaxton), and Christina (Stonequist) Thomas and son Xzavier; and six nephews and four nieces.
