Obituary

George Henry Watt, 90 of Corinth passed away at his home on March 18, 2014.
Mr. Watt was born on September 28, 1923 to George and Lydia Watt in Washington D.C.
Mr. Watt attended public schools in Washington D.C. and served in the US Army during World War II. He married Pearl Neal on September 14, 1944 in Jackson Mississippi. Mr. Watt was a supervisor for the US Postal Service and later retired from service. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Wilshire Park Community Club and the Postal Supervisors Organization.

Mr. Watt is survived by his wife, Pearl Watt; Son, Ronald George Watt of Corinth, Texas; Daughter Charlotte Glass Rudd of Glen Rose, Texas, two grandchildren and three Great Grandchildren.
Mr. Watt is preceded in death by his mother and father, George and Lydia Watt and one brother, Richard Watt.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, March 24, 2014 in the Chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors at 3:00 pm. The family has requested that memorials be made to a charity of your choice in lieu of flowers in honor of George Watt.
