Gerald Eugene Jungjohan, of Denton, dies at age 86 after a short illness. Born in Moline, Illinois, to Emmett John and Ruby Lois Butler Jungjohan, he attended Moline schools and community college, then enrolled at the University of Arizona before enlisting in the Air Force.
After discharge as Sergeant, he completed his bachelor's degree at Baylor University. While at Baylor, he married Barbara Mallow of McKinney who predeceased him. One daughter, Elizabeth Ann Parrish of North Richland Hills and son-in-law Clifton Parrish survive. Mr. Jungjohan worked for Wackenhut as a polygraph examiner and for the Kroger Corporation of Dallas in risk management until his retirement.
An active member of First Denton, he will be remembered in a Celebration of Life set for Wednesday, May 1, at 2 pm in Fellowship Hall at First Denton (1100 Malone St).
