Gerald Wayne Lambert, 86, of Denton, passed away on February 4, 2023 at his home. He was born in Pilot Point, Texas to J.B. And Maureen Lambert on November 25, 1936. Gerald graduated from Denton High School.

Gerald met the love of his life, Phyllis Garrett, at church and was married in March 1963 by her father, Reverend Jimmy L. Garrett. Gerald has joined Phyllis in heaven as she passed away in December 2022.

He is survived by his daughter, Laura Ray, and her husband Bobby Ray of Gainesville, Texas. Two grandsons, Mitchell Ray of Gainesville, Logan Ray of Rockwall, and great grandson, Greyson Ray.
