Gerald (Jerry) Eldin Spencer 82 of Justin passed away Thursday, December 3, 2020 at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital.  He was born in LaCrosse, WI on May 21, 1938.  He graduated from Viroqua High School in Viroqua, WI.  He served in the US Navy from 1956-1960 being stationed in Japan, Hawaii and the Indian Sea.

Jerry married Pauline Skaug on August 4, 1962 in Bethany Lutheran Church in Esofea, WI. They lived in Kenosha, WI and had two sons, and later moved to Viroqua WI and in 1980 they moved to Justin, Texas.  Jerry Retired from the Printing Department at Texas Woman's University in Denton. Jerry enjoyed wood working and time in his workshop.  He enjoyed the outdoors more that being in the house and was good at grilling foods.  He was a devoted husband and a great Dad.

The family will be at DeBerry Funeral Directors on Sunday December 6, 2020 from 2-4:00 p.m. for a come and go visitation.

Jerry is survived by his wife of 58 years, Pauline Spencer of Justin, sons, Jeff and wife Molly Spencer of Brooklet, GA, Jim Spencer of Justin, granddaughter, Leah Spencer of Justin.
