Gerry W. Baines, 72 of Denton passed away on October 23, 2021. She was born in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania to William and Barbara Weatherford. She grew up in San Antonio, Texas and was a graduate of The University of Texas, Austin.

She was an active member of St. David of Wales Episcopal Church in Denton for over 20 years. Her involvement with the church as a choir member, ministry leader, educator and community outreach leader were invaluable to the congregation.

She is survived by her daughter, Elise Baines O'Connell of Round Rock, Texas. Son, Rob Baines of Crossroads, Texas and her four grandchildren; Mercer, Reid, Aidan, and Grayson.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Reverend R. Roy Baines, her mother and father and her brother, William Weatherford.

A funeral service will be held on November 22,  at 10:00am at St. David of Wales Episcopal Church in Denton, Texas.
