IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Glen Darrell
Box
May 8, 1937 – February 4, 2023
Glen Darrell Box of Denton, Texas was born to George Roy and Ethal Rogers Box on May 8th, 1937 in Rosedale, Oklahoma. He married the love of his life, Isa Bernice (Edens), on April 17th, 1960 and raised his family while serving the Houston bedroom community of Friendswood, Texas owner of an appliance sales and service company. Glen is remembered as a soft-spoken, humble, decent, honorable man with a subtle sense of humor and a contagious belly laugh. Over the years and through many moves, he always maintained a majestic garden, and when he didn't have an orchard at-hand, was known to go to tremendous lengths to secure a good bushel of peaches. He passed this love of gardening to his children and grandchildren, spending at least a half hour per week answering his grandson's questions about the rearing of a proper crop of stone fruit, corn, squash, and tomatoes. He goes to join his wife, his siblings Lawrence, Clarence, Gladys, Velma and Jack, and is survived by his daughter Sheri, Son Mark, Nieces Susie, Nancy and Joanne, Nephews Duane, Nick, Ricke, Glen Roy and Paul, Grandsons Darrell Glen and Bryan, and his latest joy; Great-Grandson Jeremy Glen along with great nieces and nephews.
