Glenda Mae Cole, 71, of Denton went to be with the Lord on Thursday August 3, 2017 at home. She was born on July 12, 1946 in Fort Worth, Texas to James Alan and Mittie Fay (Marsh) Hacker.

She was Mom to her daughters and 'Nana' to grandchildren. Glenda will truly be missed by her family and friends. She retired from the University of North Texas after 28 years.

Glenda is survived by her two daughters, Cheri Tenpenny and husband Tim, Christie Cole, brother, Robert Hacker, three grandchildren, Austin, Will and Bryson.

A funeral service will be held on Monday August 7, at 10:00 A.M. at DeBerry Funeral Directors in Denton, Texas. Burial will follow at Old Alton Cemetery in Denton, Texas.
