Glenn Edwin Wheat 80 of Denton passed away Saturday July 4th, 2015 in Denton. He was born July 31, 1934 in Graham, TX to T.H. Wheat and Lottie Reeves Wheat. He married Betty Sue Bilbrey on July 18, 1954 in Sundown, TX. He was a member of the Denton Church of Christ and was an Oil Field Supply Manager for Continental Emsco Co before his retirement.

There will be a viewing Monday afternoon at DeBerry Funeral Directors in Denton, Services will be held Tuesday 10:30 a.m. at the Redtop Cemetery in Graham, TX with Bobby Wheat officiating. Memorials may be made to Operation Starfish at the Hillcrest Church of Christ in Abilene, TX.

He is survived by his wife; Betty Bilbrey Wheat of Denton, Daughters, Janice Harissis and husband Nick of Lewisville, Melinda Wheat of Denton, son, Bobby Wheat and wife Nancy of Waco, sister, Frances Wickham of Amarillo, 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Bernita McCracken, brothers, T.H. Wheat Jr, Weldon Wheat and Royce Wheat.
