Gloria Burna Hernandez Mize, 74, of Krum, Tx., passed away on March 19, 2024 in Denton. She was born on January 27, 1950 to Victor and Merejilda Benavides Hernandez in Brady, Texas.

Gloria was a beautiful lady with a nice smile. She always made you feel loved and welcomed. She loved her kids and grand-children dearly and all her family and friends.  She was just a great loving lady.

She is survived by her daughter, Cathy Cardenas of Krum, Texas, son, Keith Myszkowski of Denton, sisters, Maria Morris of Brady, Tx., Delia Dela Rosa of Coleman, Tx., brothers, Victor Hernandez of Lake Brownwood, Tx., and David Hernandez of Brady, Tx., and five grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, Arthur Cardenas, husband, Clarence "Johnny" Mize and her mother and father.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 24, 2024 at DeBerry Funeral Directors in Denton, Texas, from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, March 25, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Denton, Texas. Internment will follow at Eakins Cemetery in Ponder, Texas.
