Gloria Watkins, 92, of Valley View, sadly left us on Friday, April 26, 2024. She was born on September 2, 1932, in Krum, Tx. She was a basketball and volleyball player for Krum High School until she graduated.

She married Bob Lynch and had two children, Gerald Wayne and Sylvia Kay. Later in life, she met the love of her life Harold Watkins. They were married in 1959. Harold had three daughters from a previous marriage, Joann Cox, Rebecca Archer, and Martha Raye Colee. Together, Harold and Gloria had a daughter, Debbie Lynn.

This huge blended family has Gloria preceded in death by, her husband, Harold, son Gerald, daughters Sylvia and Debbie, stepdaughters Joann and Rebecca, grandson Justin, granddaughter Crystal, and a great, great granddaughter. Gloria is survived by sister-in-law Martha Rudolph, daughter-in-law Kim Lynch, stepdaughter Martha Raye Colee, 14 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, 26 great, great-grandchildren, and 1 great, great, great-grandchild.

Gloria and Harold worked together at Merrell Buick/GMC Dealership. They would later move to Dave Krause Pontiac/Toyota Dealership. One thing Gloria loved to do was travel. She traveled the world with her best friends, having the time of their lives. Not only did she love to travel, but she loved to scrapbook all the pictures so she could relive the trips with family and friends.
