Grace Judy Berna, 62, of Krum, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 5, 2020 at Baylor Scott & White Hospital in Plano, TX.  She was born December 8, 1957 in Brooklyn, NY to Salvatore and Grace LoBasso Iozzia.  She graduated from Alfred G. Berner High School in Massapequa, New York in 1976.

The family will be at DeBerry Funeral Directors on Sunday November 15, 2020 from 10-11:00 a.m. for visitation and a Celebration of Life Service will begin at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors.  The service will also be live streamed at www.facebook.com/BillDeBerryFuneralDirectors

Grace is survived by a son Salvatore "Sonny" Berna and wife Victoria of Denton, TX, a daughter Erica Castillo of Redlands, CA, a daughter April Berna of Denton, TX, a son Matthew Berna of Sherman, TX, a son Chance Berna of Waxahachie, TX, and grandchildren Cheyanne, Elijah, Benjamin, Nathan, Johnathan, Kimberly, Katherine, Aiden, Jada, and Celena. She is also survived by a sister Loriann Iozzia of Roslyn, NY, a brother Sal Iozzia of Babylon, NY, a sister Marie and husband Walter Ciesluk of Lk Placid, FL, and a brother Danny and wife Helene Iozzia of Massapequa, NY.

Grace is preceded in death by both of her parents, Salvatore and Grace Iozzia, and by her brother Michael Iozzia.
