Grace Lynn Milos, of Denton, Texas passed away on April 23, 2024, in Denton, Texas. She was born in Blairsville, Pennsylvania on February 27, 1922, to John and Adah Simpson.
On May 3, 1947, Grace married the love of her life, Zigmund Andrew Milos. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brother, Carl Simpson. She is survived by her daughter, Bonnie Robison; granddaughter, Grace Robison; and son-in-law, Douglas Robison.
Grace loved children and graduated from Indiana State Teachers College. She started teaching school in a one-room schoolhouse in rural Pennsylvania. She taught fifth grade for several years before working with her husband in their own business. Her favorite book was the Bible. She enjoyed life and loved being with her family and church friends, volunteering, traveling, cooking for family and friends, and playing cards.
Grace and Zig moved to Denton, Texas in 1997 to be close to family. In her final years, Grace was thankful for the Good Samaritan Lake Forest Village Assisted Living Staff and friends for taking extra special care of her and keeping her young at heart.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 2, 2024, from 5-7 PM at DeBerry Funeral Directors, 2025 W University Dr., Denton, TX 76201. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 3, 2024, at 2:00 PM in the Chapel at Good Samaritan – Lake Forest Village, 3901 Montecito Drive, Denton, TX 76210. Interment will follow at Argyle Cemetery, 321 Country Club Road, Argyle, Texas.
