Greta Katherine (Martin) Lowrie, 82, of Denton passed away on September 14, 2019 in Denton. She was born on January 24, 1937 in Denton, Texas to Ike and Mary Katherine (Speak) Martin. She married the late Norman "Skeeter" Lowrie in Denton on January 26, 1955.

Greta was a faithful and dedicated wife, wonderful mom, and terrific Nan to her grandchildren and great grandchildren. A strong woman with a strong faith having served as a pastor's wife for many years. She loved "Skeeter" fiercely and missed him terribly but now they are together again in heaven. After Alzheimers began to affect her memory and her life, she would say, "Im just a crazy old woman….but I sure am having fun".

She is survived by her daughter, Kathy Russell and husband Bobby of Ponca City, OK, sons; Martin Lowrie and wife Glenda of Ponca City, OK., Kenneth Lowrie and wife Billie of Denton, daughter in law Ronda Lowrie of Oklahoma City, OK. Brad Lowrie and wife Connie of Zagreb, Croatia, sister Dorothy Martin, twelve grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Norman "Skeeter" Lowrie, her mother and father, and son Mike.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at DeBerry Funeral Directors from 5-7 PM. Funeral Services will be held in the Chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors on Thursday, September 19, 2019 at 2:00 PM. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.
