Obituary
Gretta Ganell Grigsby, 90, of Denton passed away Thursday, August 15, 2013 at her residence. She was born December 5, 1922 in Como, TX to John Rudolph Morgan Claunch and Ollie Lenora King. She married Luke Manning Grigsby on July 2, 1948 in Dallas. He preceded her in death June 25, 1992. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Denton.
Gretta was a homemaker. She spent her entire life making our house a home.
Visitation will be Sunday, August 18, 2013 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. at DeBerry Funeral Directors. Graveside service will be Monday, August 19, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Roselawn Memorial Park with Bill Byerly officiating.
Gretta is survived by her daughter, Marsha Musick of Denton; son, Johnny Grigsby of Denton; sister, Mary Elizabeth Smith of Sulphur Springs; 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
