Hal Dean Choate, born March 30, 1941, moved to heaven on July 11, 2015 in Justin, where he lived for over 40 years. Hal worked as a plant operator for many years at the Fort Worth Osteopath Hospital. He loved his job and was excellent in all he did. He was a man of many talents from taking care of his home, fixing his car, and all types of other activities and took great pride in doing things himself. One of his biggest joys was spending time with his grandchildren by taking them to McDonalds, playing dominos and being their greatest granddad.

Hal Dean Choate is preceded in death by his son, Gary Lynn Choate, brother, James Choate and his sisters, Betty Schramm, Sue McKinley, Mary Hicks and Rita Stump. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Sue Choate, children, Coy Choate (Janie), Danny Choate (Lori), Tammy Freeman (Matt), Sean Faubion and his grandchildren, Angie, Brittany, Bailey, Trinity, Braiden and Katelyn.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
