Harold Francis Kindred of Denton, Texas passed away on Saturday, October 1, 2016 due to complications from cancer.

Harold was born in Denton, Texas on July 14, 1924 to Harley and Velma Kindred. He graduated from Denton High School and went on to serve in the Army Air Corps in WWII then the US Air Force in the Korean War. Harold married Barbara Ann Ferguson on June 8, 1957. He worked for 10 years as a production planner at Moore Business Forms then started his own business, Music Bar Record Shop that he operated for 21 years, both in Denton, TX. Harold later worked for Span as a driver for 14 years before retiring in 2000. He was also a published author.

Harold is survived by his wife, Barbara Kindred of Denton, TX; daughter Diane Eberhart and her husband Jeff Eberhart of Southlake, TX; grandsons Michael Eberhart of Frisco, TX and Mason Eberhart of Kansas City, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harley and Velma and sister Wilma Abbott.

Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at the DFW National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, TX. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to any military support organization.
