Harold Gene (Fatboy) Owens, 66, of Aubrey passed away on Monday May 29, 2017 . He was born on September 16, 1950 in Denton , Texas to J.W. and Juanita (Jones) Owens. Harold married Betty Jo Vandergriff on June 14, 1972 in Denton .

Harold is survived by his wife of 44 years, Betty Jo, one daughter Cathy Reed, son, Johnny Parris, sister, Marilyn Baker, brother, Ricky and wife Debra Owens, two grandchildren, Brandon L. Miner, Jared L. Parris, four great grandchildren, Jaylon T. White, Alec D. Miner, Ethan W. Miner and Ava E. Parris.

He is preceded in death by his parents and one granddaughter, Megan D. White.

Visitation will be held on Thursday June 1, 2017 from 6-8 P.M. Funeral services will be Friday June 2, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. both at Krugerville First Baptist Church . Burial will follow at Belew Cemetery in Aubrey. Rev. Sam Redfearn will be officiating.
