Obituary
Hazel LaRue Baker Wood, 93 of Denton, passed away on Wednesday, July 31, 2013. She was born on November 25, 1919 in Fort Worth to O.M. Baker and Emma D. Rater. She married Ernest Wood in Denton, Texas and was a member of the Church of Christ. She received her Bachelor degree from Texas Woman's University and was a retired Dietician.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at 1:00 pm in the Chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors with Ross Thomson officiating.
LaRue is survived by her nephews, Donald R. Baker, Ken Baker and Michael Baker. She is preceded in death by her husband; her parents; her brothers, Olbin M. Baker and Kenneth Baker; and her niece, Carolyn Boles.
