His parents, Sixto and Amalia Zamora, his brothers Sixto Zamora Jr. Edwardo Zamora, and Raul Zamora preceded him in death. He is survived by his loving wife, Eva Zamora, who stood by his side through life's many moments along with his children, Cordelia Henslin, Hector Zamora Jr., Yvette Vaughan, Angelica Zamora, Laura Zamora, Miguel Zamora, and numerous grandchildren, and great grandchildren .

Hector's family and friends will gather to honor his memory and celebrate his enduring impact. Visitation will be held on March 24, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Bill DeBerry Funeral Directors, located at 2025 W University Dr, Denton, TX 76201. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow on March 25, 2026, beginning at 10:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 2255 N Bonnie Brae St, Denton, TX 76207. Hector will be laid to rest following the service at Roselawn Memorial Park.
