Helen Lou Edith McCage 77 of Denton passed away Thursday, May 1, 2014 at her residence. She was born July 26, 1936 in Wynnewood, OK to Virgil "Red" Thompson and Rose Lee Hicks Thompson. She married Joe McCage who preceded her in death.

She attended Mid America VoTech where she received her LPN degree. After 37 years of nursing, she retired from Seagoville Manor as Charge Nurse.

The family will be at DeBerry Funeral Directors on Sunday, May 4 ^th from 2 to 4 p.m. for visitation. A funeral service will be be held Monday May 5 ^th at 2:00 p.m. In the Chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors.

She is survived by her daughters, Teresa Fraley of Denton, Debbie Fowler of Gainesville, Connie Fletcher of Marionville MO, Judy Fuller of Hugo OK, sons, Johnny Fraley of Denton, Novis Wagoner of Gainesville, 14 grandchildren and 39 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sisters Agnes Thompson, Juanice Davis, brothers, Leonard "Buddy" Thompson and Raymond Thompson.
