Henry David Wright Jr., of Krum passed away Tuesday May 9 ^th , 2017 at home with family. He was born September 9 ^th 1960 at Flow Memorial Hospital in Denton, Texas. He was the son of Henry David Wright Sr.

He graduated high school at Denton High School in 1979. He was a hard working man that loved perfecting his craft, which was laying floor covering. He not only loved his job but loved living life to the fullest; it was hard to find him without a smile. He had a son, Dylan Wright that he loved more than life itself and lived his life after being sick raising his son. His son was the light of his life and gave him energy to fight and live for today and tomorrow!

David was diagnosed with brain cancer in 2003 and fought relentlessly to beat this disease to be with his son and family. Fighting this disease for 14 years, David never stopped loving life or fighting to win his fight.

He is survived by his son, Dylan Wright, sister, Vicki Malcolm, father, David Wright, step sister, Rhonda Tekell, nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by step mother, Jean Borth and step brother, Randy Borth.

A Memorial service will be held on Monday May 15, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at Krum First Baptist Church.

Cancer is something that affects families across the country. One sports caster, Jim Valvano said in his fight against cancer "Don't give up, don't you EVER give up". David never gave up or quit living life to the best of his ability.
