Herbert Paul Ellis passed away at his home in Krugerville, Texas on Tuesday, October 10, 2023. He was born in Spangler, Pennsylvania on July 31, 1942 to Clarence and Marian Ellis. Herbert served as a United States Marine for 4 years and later worked for FEMA until his retirement. He enjoyed watching the Cowboys and Rangers play, mowing his lawn, and spending time with his family. Herbert is preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Jacky Ellis, Charlie Ellis, Bobby Ellis and his sister Phillis Schmidt.

Herbert is survived by his wife Maryalee Ellis and his brother Junior Ellis, his two children, Marnie Ellis and Jamie Ellis and his grandchildren, Brooke Ellis, Trae Ellis, and Jordin Ellis.
