Herbert Nathaniel Warden III, 80 of Roanoke passed away January 20, 2022 in Grapevine, Texas, with his family at his side. He was born September 25, 1941 in the Bronx, New York to Herbert Nathaniel Warden Jr. and Anita Fernandez Warden. He received his Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Fairleigh Dickinson University in New Jersey.
He married Pamela Audrey Messina on January 9, 1963 in Elkton, Maryland. He served as a trainer, educator, and Human Resources Officer throughout his career, working for the El Paso Electric Company, Federal Express, and the State of Florida.
He served as a Chaplain and an Administrative Pastor in the local Christian Church. At the time of his passing, Herbert and Pamela were members of the Harvest Christian Center in Keller, TX, and active in the Senior Ministry.
The family invites you to the DeBerry Funeral Directors on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 from 5-7 p.m. for visitation, and on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 for a Celebration of Life ceremony beginning at 2:00 p.m. A graveside burial service at Roselawn Memorial Park in Denton, will follow the Celebration of Life service.
Herbert is survived by his wife of 59 years, Pamela Warden of Roanoke, TX; sister Pamela (Stan); sons Herb (Michelle) and Jonathan (Tina); daughters Denise (Mark), Laura (Lee), and Jennifer (Jason); 13 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren.
Herbert was preceded in death by his parents Herbert and Anita Warden.
