Obituary
Houston Boaz, 90, of Denton passed away Friday, September 26, 2014 at his residence. He was born November 24, 1923 in Whitesboro to Houston and Bertie Greer Boaz. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He married Nedra Swindle on June 27, 1948. She preceded him in death on December 29, 2013. He retired from Trinity Industries.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was a kind and gentle hearted man who was always there for his family.
He is survived by his daughter, Janna Burton and husband Jerry of The Colony; grandson, Chad Burton of Frisco; great granddaughter, Raegan Burton; sister, Georgia Robinson of Gainesville and brother, Virgil Boaz of Louisiana.
Graveside service will be Monday, September 29, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at Collinsville Cemetery in Collinsville, Texas with Rev. Buddy Owens officiating.
