Obituary

Hulen Ray Boliver, 75, of Lake Dallas, passed away Monday, March 30, 2015 in Denton. He was born October 6, 1939 in Lubbock to Albert Raymond and Charlsie Damon Boliver. He graduated from Denton High School, served in the military during the Cuban Missile Crisis and Bay of Pigs. He married Thelma Chambers on August 23, 1957 in Denton. She preceded him in death in 1999. He was a member of Lake Cities United Methodist Church.

Visitation will be Wednesday, April 1, 2015 from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. at DeBerry Funeral Directors. Funeral service will be Thursday, April 2, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at Lake Cities United Methodist Church with Rev. John Peel and Rev. Rene Lawson officiating. Burial will follow at Swisher Cemetery in Lake Dallas. Pallbearers will be Rickey Garrison, Mitchell Boliver, Colby Boliver, Michael Boliver, Tim Malpass and Greg Winkle. Tab Boliver serve as honorary pallbearer.

He is survived by sons, Reggie Boliver and wife Dianne Boliver, Eddie Boliver and wife Judy; sister, Barbara Garrison; brothers, Tommy Boliver and wife Jeneane, Ronnie Boliver and wife Charlotte; grandchildren, Brooke Boliver, Colby Boliver, Jordan Boliver, Preston Boliver; and 1 great grandchild, Weston Boliver. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Thelma and infant daughter.

The family would like to thank the wonderful and loving caregivers of Willow Bend Assisted Living and Novis Heath Services.
