Ildefonso "Poncho" Leal-Garcia, 74, passed away at his home on Thursday, November 9, 2023. He was born in Mexico to Manuel Leal Garza and Mercedes Garcia on January 23, 1949.

Papa love to spend time with grand babies. He loved going to the flea markets, trader village, or garage sales. As long as he was spending time and making memories he was happy. Man could sleep anywhere!

Poncho is survived by son, Scotty Leal; Sisters, Clara, Guadalupe, Fela, Edith; Brother, Pedro, Juan, Gerardo; Daughters, Jessica Haley and Beverly Lefler; and countless Grandchildren

He is preceded in death by his mother and father;  loving wife, Eddie Bernice; daughters, Jan, Doreen, Lori, and Sherry; Son, Russell; Brothers, Eddie, Evaristo, Luciano; Sisters, Lilia and Paula, Granddaughter, Cheyanne; Grandsons, Jason, Isaac and Russell

Visitation will be held at DeBerry Funeral Home in Denton, Texas on November 17th, 2023 at 11am, with the funeral service to follow at 12pm. Burial will take place at Roselawn Memorial Park immediately following the funeral service.
