Obituary
Ima Mae Tonn, 86 of Denton, passed into the presence of her Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, on Wednesday, October 9, 2013.
She was born on June 14, 1927 to Claude Smith and Meryle Proctor. She married Durwood Tonn on August 31, 1945 in Eastland,Texas and she was a First Grade Teacher for Denton ISD before retirement.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 13, 2013 from 3-5 pm at DeBerry Funeral Directors. The funeral service will be held on Monday, October 14, 2013 at 10:00 am in the Chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors with Dr. Tom Kerr and Caleb Tonn officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.
Ima is survived by her husband, Durwood; daughter, Teri Smith; sons, Rick Tonn, Gary Tonn, and Timothy Tonn; brother, Ronald Smith; 11 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, and sister Verna Dean and a brother Delbert Smith.
