Irene Evans Vaughn, 95 of Hickory Creek, Texas passed away on January 7, 2017 in Denton, Texas. She was born on December 9, 1921 in Prosper, Texas to Richard and Rebecca (Stice) Evans.

She is retired from Russell Newman Manufacturing Co.

She is survived by her son, Gene Martin and his wife, Linda of N. Richland Hills, Texas, step sons, Lewis Vaughn and Bradley Earl, 5 grandchildren and 14 great- grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren, plus one on the way.

She is preceded in death by her mother and father, husband, Bradley Vaughn, daughter, Loreta Fern Mitchell, sister, Evelyn Evans and brother, James Evans.

The family will receive friends on Monday, January 9, 2017 from 6-8 P.M. A graveside service will be held at Belew Cemetery in Aubrey, Texas on Tuesday, January 10 at 2:00 P.M.
