Obituary
Isaias Govea, 72, of Denton, passed away on Tuesday, October 30, 2012. He was born on June 3, 1940 in Mexico to Natividad Govea and Margarita Hernandez Govea. He married Paula Meza on October 31, 1969.
A visitation and Rosary will be held on Thursday, November 1, 2012 from 6-8 pm at DeBerry Funeral Directors. A funeral service will be held at 1:30 pm on Friday, November 2, 2012 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Deacon Emilio "Popo" Gonzalez officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.
Isaias is survived by his daughter, Elodia (Melinda) Carreon; son: Javier Govea; sisters, Juana Vaga, Mercedes Martinez, Minvera Tapia, Sofia Alvarez, and Teresa Serrano; brothers, Natividad Govea, Genio Govea, and Juan Govea; and 3 grandchildren, Sebastian, Emanuel, and Joseph. He is preceded in death by his wife, Paula; his parents; and 4 brothers.
