Obituary

Clifton N. "Jack" Reding, 96, of Denton passed away on Friday, February 18, 2022 in Denton.  He was born on March 18, 1925 in Aubrey to Stonewall Jackson and Willie Wilkerson Reding.  Jack served in the US Army during World War II, he was awarded the bronze star in the Asiatic-Pacific Campaign during the Philippine Liberation. Jack married Velma Goodnight in November of 1949 in Magnolia, Arkansas.  She preceded him in death on January 23, 1996.

Jack was retired from the Texas Department of Transportation where he was a Surveyor.

Graveside services will be held 3:30 pm, Monday, February 21, 2022 at Roselawn Memorial Park in Denton.

Jack is survived by his son, Cliff and wife, Charlotte Reding of Denton, sister, Natha Summers of Irving, grandsons, Mark and wife Kim Reding, Nick Reding, Austin Reding, great grandchildren, Hutson Powell, Kennedy Powell, Riley Reding, Ramey Powell and Emma Reding.
