Jack Winters Williams passed away in Justin, Texas on Friday, October 17, 2025. He was born in Crosby, Texas on October 26, 1937 to Edgar and Velma Williams.
Jack worked as a Truck Driver for 12 years before his retirement. He enjoyed building and repairing things, and helping others as an active member of the Church of Christ in Throckmorton, Texas. He returned to Ponder, Texas to live with family in 2020 as he slowly declined with dementia.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his three older brothers; Arthur, Preston and Robert Williams, two wives; Christine Williams and Sue Rogers Williams, and son-in-law Mike Stack.
A memorial service will be held at First Baptist Church of Ponder, Texas on Saturday, October 25 at 10:00am.
Jack is survived by his children: Charles Williams (Wonaka), Debbi Stack, and Curtis Williams (Shai), all of Ponder, Texas; his grandchildren: John Williams (Krista), Erin Willbanks (Brendan), William Ray Stack (Jessica), JD Williams (Kimberly), Ashley Skurdahl (Chris); and his great grandchildren: Carson and Brady Williams, Harrison Willbanks, Austen and Joshua Williams, Bo Stack and Parker Skurdahl. Joyce Williams of Ponder, Texas is the mother of his children. Uncle: Bill McInroe (OvaLee) of Levelland; Step children: Kimberly Tipton (Doug), Kliff Rodgers, Debbie Timmons (Curtis), Nancy Hamilton (Darryl), Bob Rodgers (Elizabeth) and their families; cousins, nieces and nephews.
