Obituary
Jackie Cooper Riggs, 81, of Shady Shores passed away Saturday, January 31, 2015. He was born December 4, 1933 in Plano to Climmie Jack Riggs and Mary Naomi Massengale Riggs. He married Kay Moffeit. He retired from Alcatel Network Systems as lead technician in 1992.
Funeral service will be Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at 10:30 A.M. in the chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors with Mr. Allen Ward and Rev. Chris Allen officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Tred Riggs, Jackie Riggs, Isaac Bennett, Heath Riggs, Jody Ward, and Kenny Riggs. Honorary pallbearer will be Rodney Ward.
Jackie is survived by his wife, Kay Riggs of Shady Shores; daughters, Brenda Ward of Plano, Angela Bennett of Corinth; sons, Kenny Riggs of New Orleans, Tred Riggs of Nacogdoches, and Jackie Riggs of Corinth; sister, Jeanie Barton of Corpus Christi, brother, Climmie Riggs of Terrell; 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
