Jackie Ray Trotter, 79, of Denton passed away Thursday, June 20, 2013 in Denton. He was born January 8, 1934 in Littlefield TX to Daily David Trotter and Hattie Jane King Trotter. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War, was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus and Telephone Pioneer Society. He married Patricia Harvey in 1956 in Kellogg, ID. He retired from GTE-Verizon.




Rosary will be Monday, June 24, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. at DeBerry Funeral Chapel with visitation to follow until 8:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Father Tim Thompson officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be David Trotter, Matthew Trotter, Patrick Trotter and Chance Bowman.




He is survived by his wife, Patricia Trotter of Denton; daughters, Jane Krhovjak and spouse Britt and their daughter, Annie, Judy Bowman and spouse Chris and their children Chance and Krista; sons, Christopher and spouse Louise Trotter and children, Colleen, David, Matthew and Patrick, Timothy Trotter and children, Isabelle and William; and brother, Bruce Trotter.
