Obituary

Jackie Wayne Zackery , 81, of Denton passed away December 5, 2021 in Denton.  He was born October 15, 1940 in Denton, Texas to Jack and Nell Whitlock Zackery. He was an Artist (wood carvings) and professional Paint Contractor.  He attended Denton schools and graduated from Denton Senior High. He received an honorable discharge from the Army National Guard.  He was a frequent volunteer/charity participant for many many souls that crossed his path.

A memorial Service will be held in the Chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors on Friday, January 14, 2022 located at 2:00 p.m., Rev. Randy Snow will officiate. He will be interred at the Green Valley Cemetery between Denton and Aubrey, near the original family farm.

Jackie is survived by a daughter Rexann Zackery Crum of Wylie and son-in-law Scott M Crum, 2 Grandsons - Nico C Crum and Kyle Z Graham along with his with Ally Bigbee Graham.  2 Nieces - Paige Flores and Julie Ann Zackery.
