Jacob Zealand Fikes, 31, of Dallas, Texas passed away on June 15, 2023, at his home. He was born in Lewisville, Texas on May 5, 1992.

Jacob grew up in Krum, TX. He graduated from Krum High School in 2010 and went on to El Centro College. He graduated with honors in 2014, receiving his associate in applied science and respiratory care. He went to work with Baylor Hospital Dallas. In 2018 he was board certified neonatal/pediatric specialist and worked at Children's Hospital Dallas. He made so many friends and helped so many families. Jacob loved going to sports games including the Mavericks, Dallas Stars, and the Rangers games. During his free time, he loves to work on his artwork and tending to his plant collection. He also recently started playing pickleball and golf. He was always good with everything he tried.

He is survived by his parents, Kevin (father)and Kim Fikes of Krum and Lucy (mother) and Alex Ford of Plano. Forever remembered and loved by his sister, Jordan Fikes of Krum, brother, Austin Nation of Flower Mound, sister, Kayleigh Fikes of Krum and sister, Emma Sheffler of Denton, sister, Harmony Ford of McKinney.

He leaves behind his loving companion Luna, who was always by his side.

A Memorial service will be held on June 29, 2023 at 2:00pm at the Christian Center Assembly of God in Krum, Texas. 5301 Masch Branch Rd, Krum,TX 76249
