James Franklin Adams, 84, of Denton passed away on February 10, 2025, in Denton, Texas. He was born on November 8, 1940, in Decatur, Tx. to James and Zepha (Stone) Adams.

He attended Denton Schools and graduated Denton High School in 1959. He married Sandy Adcock in 1966. He was a mechanic and had operated his own automotive repair business, Adams Garage in Denton, Texas.

He is survived by his wife, Sandy Adams, of Denton, Tx., son, James Adams and his wife, Greta of Denton, Tx., sister Genna Dillworth of Denton, Tx. and his grandson, Daniel Adams.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father.
