James Richard Bailey McShan, Jr (87) of Denton, Texas passed away May 18th at his home.

He was born March 23, 1938 in Brady, Texas to James and Mattie (Behrens) McShan.

Jimmy grew up in Littlefield, Texas where he graduated from Littlefield High School, he attended the University of Houston where he earned his bachelor's degree, after graduation he joined and served in the U.S. ARMY, at the end of his service he was a lieutenant.

Jimmy moved to Denton in 1968, where he worked for KDNT Radio for many years.

Jimmy is survived by his nephew Devin, wife Cynthia Donelson, several great nephews and nieces, and many great friends.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, JB & Mattie (Behrens) McShan, his sister, Bobbi Jo (McShan) Donelson, and brother-in-law, Mal Donelson.

A celebration of life will be held on June 28th at 2pm at DeBerry Funeral Chapel.
