James Daniel Bellamy, 58, of Ponder, Texas passed away Wednesday December 25, 2019 in Denton Texas after a illness. He was surrounded by family and friends.

He was born to the late James Frank and Neva Joyce (Rawlinson) Bellamy on December 30, 1960 in Lufkin, Texas.

He married his High School Sweetheart and best friend Laura Krug in San Pierre ,IN on July 13, 1980. Together they had 6 children.
He worked in Carpentry, Industrial, Construction, Mechanic, Security, Storm chaser and volunteered as a fire fighter.

James loved working on and fixing many things including cars, talking on a ham radio, playing guitar, cooking, spending time with his family at many events and loved to entertain with family and friends at home. He was a loving husband and a wonderful father, brother and friend.

He is preceded in death by both of his parents and brother in-law Jose Morales and father In-law David Krug and one grandchild Brody Allen.

He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years Laura Bellamy of Ponder,Tx., daughters Amy Bozich of Lafayette,IN and Jessica Allen of Knox,IN, sons James David Bellamy of Valparaiso, IN, Andrew Bellamy of Denton,TX, Robert Allen of Denton,TX and Aaron Bellamy of Denton,TX, sisters, Rhonda Bellamy of Green Bay,WI, Mary Joyce Morales of Lufkin,TX, Shelia and husband Gerald Nungester of Lufkin,TX, Mary Kathryn Dillon of Bryan,TX and Milisa Gamboa of Lufkin,TX, fourteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild and numerous nephews and nieces,also very close and long time family friend Penny Jocoy.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
