Obituary
James W. "Bill" Gage, 95, of Denton, passed away Wednesday, January 20, 2016 in Denton. He was born December 7, 1920 in Wise County to Jerl and Ora Gage.
Bill was a lifelong avid fisherman and hunter. He graduated Texas A&M and retired from General Dynamics after 30 years. He was a B-24 gunner on 35 missions in WW II in Europe.
He married Fidella Mann on August 23, 1941 in Marietta, OK. She preceded him in death. He later married Eleanor Morris. She preceded him in death also.
Visitation will be Friday, January, 22, 2016 from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. prior to the service at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors. Burial will follow at Sanger Cemetery.
He is survived by his son, Jerry J. Gage and wife, Gloria of Grand Junction CO and two granddaughters, Gina Gage Smith of Seattle, WA and Gwen Gage of Brooklyn, NY.
