James (Jim) Bufkins, 71, passed away Sunday, November 12, 2023, in Denton Texas. He was born in Colorado Springs, Colorado on October 10, 1952, to Russell L. Bufkins and Dorothy Ann Clewlow Bufkins. He graduated from Princeton High School in Princeton, New Jersey and studied at Syracuse University before graduating from Indiana University. He later studied law at Pepperdine University before a career in human resources recruiting. Jim was a championship contract bridge player and devoted Texas Rangers fan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Dee Dee and his brother William (Bill) Bufkins. He is survived by his sister-in-law Samra Bufkins.
