James Marion Clayton, 77, of Justin passed away December 9, 2021 at Medical City Denton.  He was born on March 18, 1944 in Sulphur Springs, Texas to Marion Clayton and Willie Fae Kinnamon Clayton.  He attended Sulphur Springs High School.  He was Baptist by faith, a member of the Masonic Lodge and Eastern Star. He loved to do wood working, gardening with his dogs beside him. Before he retired, he was a Union Steward, and retired from Allied Aviation where he was a Refueler at Love Field and D/FW international Airports.

A memorial Service will be held on Friday January 7, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors.

He is survived by a daughter, Jennifer Clayton of Justin, a son, Monty Clayton and wife Andrea of Quitman TX and two grandkids, Jason and Tami Clayton, two living sisters Pat Shami and Brenda Bailey, a sister-in-law Sandra St Romaine and husband Sam.
