James Daniel Adams passed away Sunday, June 27, 2021 in Sherman, Texas. Danny was born April 9, 1945 in Fort Worth, Texas to Samuel and Frieda Adams. Danny married Kim Wells on May 2, 2003. Danny was in the United States Army and served in Vietnam. He was a Mason and a member of the Elks Lodge. After the military Danny attended Texas Tech. He later moved to Denton, Texas where he owned Denton Cable Contractors until 2003 when he had a stroke. Danny had a love for music and playing his guitars. He also enjoyed his prowler. Danny loved seeing his friends and family. He never missed a football game. Danny is proceeded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be held from 5PM to 7PM at DeBerry Funeral Directors on Monday, July 5, 2021. Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at 11AM with interment following at the DFW National Cemetery.

Danny is survived by his wife Kim; brother Lewis Adams; children Samuel, Daniel, Sasha and Brandon Adams; two step children, Heather Pecskovszky and Beth Wells; three grandchildren, five step grandchildren and Walt De Ronde, his best friend who stood beside him through everything.
